Reptire Bicycle Stand on Kickstarter

I have been assisting my brother for many years on developing a excellent bicycle stand.  I believe he has created a simple stand that allows for easy on, easy off access.  He has a kickstarter campaign now live.  His goal is to bring this product to life and to fellow cyclists.  Please take a moment to watch the video and share with your cycling friends.

The documentary hit a lifestyle chord with me. Growing up in the great west, open spaces became a part of me. Maybe I will release a film ‘Biking Patagonia’, stay tuned.

Bike Part Vending Machines

July 15, 2008

Another great article from

In Madison, Wisconsin Trek has a vending machine that sells bike parts…tubes, patches, chain lube, energy bars.  What a great idea.

I carry the necessary tools and parts for minor repairs and they are heavy and usually unnecessary.  My morning commute is too early for bike shop hours and my routes are no-where near their locations.  These vending machines should be populated near high volume commuter routes.
